Handwriting Practice Worksheets ("we," "us") runs handwritingpracticeworksheets.com. This page explains what information is involved when you use the site, and what happens to it. The site is operated by Cedrick Reese, who is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach him at admin@readyutilities.com.

What you type into the worksheet makers
Names, words, passages and settings you enter are used only to draw the worksheet in your own browser. They are not sent to us, not stored on a server, and not kept after you close or reload the page. If you press Copy link, your text and settings are written into the link itself, after the # sign. That part of a link is not sent to our server when the page loads, and it goes only where you choose to paste it. Pressing Copy link also puts the text and settings in your browser's address bar, so they can show up in your browser history or in a bookmark. Anyone you send the link to can read what it contains, so avoid putting a child's full name in a link you share publicly.
A signature you draw on the signature practice page is handled the same way as typed text: it stays in your browser, it is never uploaded, and it is never added to a copied link. If you choose to trace it, it appears on the sheet you print or save as a PDF.
Download PDF turns the worksheet into a PDF file in your browser and saves it to your device. The file is not uploaded to us. To put the handwriting fonts inside the PDF, your browser requests the font files from Google Fonts again, which sends Google the same standard request information described below.
Fonts loaded from Google
To show the page and draw worksheet letters, your browser downloads typefaces from Google Fonts. When that happens, Google receives standard request information, including your IP address. Google states that the Fonts API is designed to limit the collection, storage and use of end-user data to what is needed to serve fonts. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this information.
Server logs
Like every website, this one runs on a web hosting provider whose servers keep standard access logs. A log entry records your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and are kept and deleted on the hosting provider's own schedule.
Contact form and email
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you enter are sent to a form handler at readyutilities.com, which forwards them to us by email so we can reply. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include. We use this information only to answer you, and we don't sell it or use it for marketing. Messages stay in our email only as long as needed to handle your question.
Legal basis (EU and UK visitors)
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we answer your messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website. The site is run from the United States, so information you send is handled there.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Right now this site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising code. The light and dark theme button does not save your choice anywhere.
We plan to add analytics and advertising (Google AdSense) in the future. Before either goes live, this policy and the cookie policy will be updated to name the services and cookies involved, and a consent banner will be added where the law requires one.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA), other US states with privacy laws, and the EU and UK (GDPR), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or limit certain uses. The only personal information we may hold is what you sent through the contact form or by email. To make a request, write to admin@readyutilities.com. We will reply within the time your local law allows, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, there is nothing for it to switch off today. That will be honored when advertising is added. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children's privacy
The worksheets are meant for children to use with an adult, but this website is written for and operated by adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Names typed into the worksheet makers stay in the browser and are never collected. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top changes with it.
